Notice the difference of the ring on the bigger lens projector ... Xenon has shiny ring while the Halogen not so shiny.

That's why i was confused when the lights where delivered.

You still have to cut the pre-LCI plug and rewire into the LCI plug ... there's no actual converter adapter from pre-LCI plug -> LCI plug.

This is what the retrofit cable kit look like http://forums.5serie...acelift-lights/

RootKit is doing the full LCI light conversion, with new module and everything and he is cutting the old plug. I want to stay "Plug & Play" so i can always re-install the pre LCI lights.

As I mentioned before ... I tried when I did my conversion but no conversion adapter so you have to cut the cable plug and replace ... but hope you find another way ... GL!

iDrive looking for resistance on each of the 5 watt as you probably already know the resistance of 10 watt is not exactly the same as 2x5 watt.

GL!

Can you or someone else tell about the right resistor to use so the iDrive will not complain, 'cause on every thread the solution seems to be ====TOP SECRET====
Is it 40 or 50 Ohm?

Thanks.

Is the pictured plug part number in your original post?

How much did all the parts cost?
