This pic is the real Bi-Xenon LCI ... I retrofitted this kind upgraded my pre-LCI halogen ... the smaller round reflector is not in use for anything just look-a-like projector.
Notice the difference of the ring on the bigger lens projector ... Xenon has shiny ring while the Halogen not so shiny.

That's why i was confused when the lights where delivered.

Why the hard way ... just use retrofit cable set from BMW p/n 61-12-0-432-110 it has all the LCI plugs + the socket contacs + rubber gromets & etc.
You still have to cut the pre-LCI plug and rewire into the LCI plug ... there's no actual converter adapter from pre-LCI plug -> LCI plug.
This is what the retrofit cable kit look like http://forums.5serie...acelift-lights/

This member already done (w/ front parking light error, I believe ...) what you are 'bout to do = http://forums.5serie...ost__p__1216046
RootKit is doing the full LCI light conversion, with new module and everything and he is cutting the old plug. I want to stay "Plug & Play" so i can always re-install the pre LCI lights.

As I mentioned before ... I tried when I did my conversion but no conversion adapter so you have to cut the cable plug and replace ... but hope you find another way ... GL!

I believe you will still get error by joining the 2 cables ... you will need resistor ... but that's just my opinion ... you'll find out when you do the actual install.
iDrive looking for resistance on each of the 5 watt as you probably already know the resistance of 10 watt is not exactly the same as 2x5 watt.
GL!

Can you or someone else tell about the right resistor to use so the iDrive will not complain, 'cause on every thread the solution seems to be ====TOP SECRET====
Is it 40 or 50 Ohm?
Thanks.

Waiting on some parts (pins and socket 8 pol) that i forgot to order to make the second plug.
