In this picture you can see that the red and black wires have connector pins at the end of them. I depinned them from the 3 wire connector I bought from Frys. Those pins aren't the same style that bmw uses, but they slide right into the glove box connector and clip in. They are a little loose in the connector, but make good enought contact with the module when it is plugged in to activate sport mode.

I just installed a button labeled Sport that lights up in a matching amber color in my Shift Boot bezel, it looks awesome, but more importantly is an absolute blast! The steering literally gets 3 times heavier, the engine/Throttle is a lot more responsive, and the trans shifts harder. It is so fun to have 2 personalities of my car available, it can comfy cruise with the best of em, but it can also get serious. There is a tutorial and explanation on youtube.

guys quick question as i i'm going to go the OEM root, does the button light up with the rest of the car at night (other then the indicator LED) using just pin #9 and the ground? seems weird BMW designed the button with 4 pins and only 3 are used.

scratch that, found out pin 4 on the button should be connected to pin 4 on X14057 to light up the OEM button at night with the rest of the interior lights.

Thats weird that i find a lot of people say pre-lci auto is slow, in my 550i its unbelievably fast for a auto trans. It even causes a burp in the exhaust when i shift up at around 3,500rpm
