I rarely use it as it mostly seems to be unable to hear me correctly! ![Getlost](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/getlost.gif)

I?ve always considered that this area remains work-in-progress as far as BMW is concerned; there is a whole lot more that can be done with voice commands i.e. local programming/set-up (aid local dialect issues) or indeed by the user/driver to add smart controls etc................
As to my initial comment here?s a humorous related story re Voice Commands (VC) ? my ex wrote off 5 cars in our time together

I use if for screen switching ("trip computer"), some navigation commands ("perspective", "scale 800 feet"), and phone dialing when I don't have the number programmed. Speaking the phone numbers work although its rather tedious.
My car absolutely does NOT understand "ipod" or any track selection commands.

I once said, "service request" and nothing happened. So I tried, "fuck you" and the car died.

I probably use the command "ipod" the most, followed by "dial <insert name>"
I tried "warp speed" a few times but it doesn't help.![Laughing](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/laughing.gif)

They're in the Information section of this web site, listed under Current Owners. It's a 75kb PDF.
