will give it a shot..i will post results...thanks
Any updates? I am having no luck with any of the dealers out here.
:-( BMW NA was also unable to tell me anything as dealerships are independently owned and operated.
This BLOWS.
Could I go to a salvage yard and take the parts?

Let me know how you get on.
Were your CCC and 8.8" monitor brand new?
I bet you didn't get the CCC Fan cable from Amador143, I had to source cable from another eBayer, CCC Fan cable cost me about 20 Euros and also included plug X13813 and the plug insert P that connects the 3 connectors from the CCC Fan cable to pins 1, 5 and 11 on the back of the CCC.
I installed my E60 Pro Nav retrofit parts back in about January/February 2007 and have a couple minor issues that I hope the Retrofit Path software upgrade will fix, namely CCC voice speaking lady speaks German and the Voice button next to I-Drive controller doesn't work. Other than those issues, I have fully functioning Pro Nav with an English speaking lady giving me directions.
Have you currently installed your Pro Nav parts?
I still haven't had the Pro Nav Retrofit path software installed as I'm waiting on v25.x.x to arrive in Adelaide so I can get my eyebrows fixed as well as some others.
Unfortunately, I need to put back my Business Nav M-ask and 6.5" monitor so that my E60 will be upgraded to v25.x.x, then re-install the Pro Nav parts so that the Retrofit Path software that has to be the same version of the E60 can be uploaded to update the parts.

Interesting.. how much is dealer charging for CCC retrofit?
I updated my E60 Business Nav to Professional Navigation myself as I didn't want BMW service to see that the parts were secondhand. I was advised before from BMW Australia that secondhand parts weren't to be installed on a E60.
I'll still have to pay for thr retrofit path software and because all parts will be installed, I hope that there aren't any issues.

Unfortunately the CCC unit that Amador134 sent me, is finally defective.
When I received the parts from Poland and installed the system on my car, the DVD drive did not allowed a disc enter in it, and also Right audio channel was completely with no sound at all. I asked him and he answered that all Parts are tested and 100% functional, but this one was not 100% functional at all. I would say it is 50%!
Anyway, that guy Arek, responded immediately and he sent me a replacenent DVD drive, instead of a replacement CCC unit.
I asked Amador what is he thinking about CCC sound problem and he answered that I have to re-encode CCC and the sound will be fixed then, because CCC has got a Logic7 programming, but my car has a standard stereo on it.
I asked many BMW technicians here in Athens and our forums members, who know thinks about, or who they have retrofitted a CCC, and they all replied that CCC has to be functional on both audio channels, even if it was removed from a Logic7 equipped car.
Finally, I decided to pay 150 Eur. at BMW for CCC programming, so that way I will discover if CCC is functional, or defective.
They did a comlpete CCC upgrade, but no sound on right audio channel at all
If CCC was not defective, then I would be very happy with it, because the update was very easy and successful without any problems at all
Here is the CCC retrofit link:

Nick, do the Pro Nav perpective maps look better with v25.x.x. So, the parts from Amador143 where OK when Progman and retrofit software updates were performed, NO ERRORS.
Did you have to have the Bus Nav parts initially for v25.x.x Progman update, then install Pro Nav parts for retrofit software update?
Bad news about the sound issues, bugga, I always hoped that these CCC's and monitors weren't defective. I may have been lucky, mine seems OK at the moment. My CCC was dated 26-3-2006, but 8.8" was week 48 in 2004.

I don't know, maybe ...I'm just unlucky
but that guy Arek (Amador) seems to be very responsible. I emailed yesterday, informed him, that sound issue remaining after the re-encoding and he replied immediately, that he will send me a new CCC on Monday.
I bought fan wiring/connector (8 Eur.) and checked CCC fan, but had no luck. Fan was also defective.
No there is no need to update your Business Nav before. You can go straight to V25 update with Nav Pro parts installed
The only issue was that the CID (8.8" display) was not compatible (according to SSS system) to the specific CCC, so the tech guy has to remove one monitor from a loaner car and installed it on my car, just to continue the update proccess and when update finished he re-installed my monitor. System asked to replace the monitor with part# 65 82 6 973 546
He was tried to bypass the system's display rejection, with the "OK continue update anyway" path, but he had no luck with my monitor, but he did had luck with the loaner's monitor, because system rejected and the loaner's monitor also, but accepted it with the "continue update anyway" command. Crazy things

Loaner's monitor was part# 65 82 6 938 108
A problem on future updates, that's for sure, so I will ask Amador to exchange it, with a compatible, or "semi-compatible" one, to CCC.
My CCC is the newest part number available by BMW, compatible to all E60 models, manufactured on year 2006. Part# 65 83 6 987 689
My CID is manufactured on year 2004 and is not compatible to the above CCC, but functions perfectly (update was continued using a compatible CID only). Part# 65 83 6 957 343

Hey guys,
I've been following this post for a while. Thanks for a place to purchase the navigation. I visited Amador143 ebay store and found this for sale. How can I tell if it will work in my e60? I have a 2004 525i. Here is the link. Any help is appreciated:

If it is prepared, then it will be a very easy installation.
Usually that Business Nav kits, have been removed from upgraded to Nav Pro cars, so I think, parts are compatible altogether.
I don't think that you gonna have troubles with it, damaniack (from Australia) bought Nav Pro from Amador, tested it and had no problems.
Also that guy is very responsible.
