she did not need teaching a lesson??? thats not his or your job.

but if you feel like being the worlds police.

why do people make themselves so busy nowadays?, become a traffic policeman if it bothers you so much, otherwise just get on with your own life.

With age comes wisdom (THEORETICALLY SPEAKING). Regardless of the vehicle I happen to be driving I know that when it comes to matters of road rage, tis better to turn the other cheek and not let the situation get the best of you under any circumstances.

[Now comes the part where I begin speaking out of the other side of my mouth] There are countless, and I do mean countless, circumstances in my teens, 20's and in some cases my early 30's where I would not turn the other cheek and responded to road rage or ignorantly misinformed drivers callously and without regard to the repercussions of my actions upon others. Whether it was the extreme tailgate on a slow driver, tapping the brake lights to slow an overly aggressive driver, taking the parts of 2 lanes to prevent a driver from passing, passing on the berm, etc.

Eventually we all get older and shoulder more responsibility. As a husband and parent of 2 children, I can't afford to act as carelessly and callously as I did in my single days. Don't get me wrong, I still get peeved when I encounter the occasional horse's ass on America's highways and bi-ways, but I don't let my emotions get the best of me.

Not to rain on this parade, but it's stuff like this that leads to people getting hurt. "Car antics" can lead to death. I have seen it. People the world over are concerned about hand guns and the danger from owning them, but drive a sedan around with reckless abandonment without a thought...

Not for nothing, but how would you have felt if the "ugly ghetto chick" had not been wearing her seat belt and launched through the windshield?

Not to be a party pooper, but we never know how other people are going to react to stress and danger. As for knowing who has a gun....YOU NEVER KNOW! Florida is a "shall issue" state for gun permits. You never know who is packing.

The risk isn't worth the reward in my book. It could have ended very differently and I doubt you'd be bragging.

As an aside, this thread probably belongs in the lounge.

Well said Waco. Same thing outside the car. Stop and think if it's really worth it. How are you going to feel afterwords, "win" or "lose?" In my experience, you get your testosterone going and in the moment it's satisfying to lash out at some a-hole. Then later you think, "God, that was so stupid, now I'm an a-hole as well." There also are a lot of people with hair-trigger tempers who also are packing. Do you really want to get into a shoot-out over some minor issue? Do you want to be shot or shoot someone and go to jail? It's best to just let it go. You'll forget about it in a couple of days anyway. Save the fighting for when you're in a self-defense situation where some dude already has thrown the first punch, and you have no choice. Then beat the living sh*t out of him.
