Last visit to the dealer, been told that the M5's official sticker price is still pending due to the crazy FX fluctuation. Should be somewhere between HKD1.4-1.5M

Hi Bunbun, did you get your M-package 6 months after the initial registration to avoid paying tax? The M-package costs $60,000 and with 100% tax on options the package end up costing $120,000... that's outrageous!

Where did you get the package installed? only the bodykit? what about the steering wheel and such? sorry for all these questions but i really wanna know! Thanks.

Hi Sealobo

I got it 12 months after my initial purchase of the car, body kit only, no steering wheel yet (thinking about it tho). It costed me $29K (incl installation). Bought from BMW HK and installed at their Chai Wan service centre. If you're interested, I can intro you to my service manager. Im sure he can work out something for you to avoid the ridiculous tax issue....hehe. I think the tax can be avoided if you dont order your car with it pre-installed at the factory.

Thinking about swapping the stock muffler/exhaust with Eisenmann or ACS.

Cheers

Yo Alohalc
Long time brah, thought u abandoned our sub forum...hehe. I already changed my wheels (these current ones), I had stock 16" (forgot style number) that came with the 520i (non runflat tires too). So it's already a step up for me. I plan to spend my $ next on muffler and possibly sports steering wheel.
