Yeah I was checking my neighbour's car and he got those flaps too so is next to impossible to access those clips, but I have never looked under the hood and maybe there's a way.

But mic, the job was easy really. Where did you encounter the problem?

Hahah there are a ton of those people here... those that can "just afford it" I hate that... I get jealous... they go in there buy a S55 just because they can and cuz its the one that costs the most... You'll be amazed how many asians walk into a dealership and go give me the most expensive one that looks like that and points to a S class. Same goes for the E.

They cant do that to a BMW because the M only comes in Manual before the E39. But they do do that with the 7 also... and walk out with a 760Li

Bun Bun,

I am still in Canada and will be back to HK for vacation during X'mas time.

I owned a 330i before, bought in 2004 and if anyone knows about a big rain storm during Aug/05, my 16 months old 330i was totally flooded! The car has been totalled and I have to get a new one.........

Is this in Toronto? How the hell did your car get flooded? I don't think insurance covers the act of god right?

Yes, AC_55, this happened in Markham (Steeles/Woodbine). I want to know why either! My car was just parking at a parking lot. It happened on Aug 19 - Friday - (not even a black Friday). We've got a rain storm, a really really heavy one and part of that parking lot was flooded. At least 30+ cars were flooded. My car was flooded with mud water up to the dash board. I might have some pictures (but not my own car). Who would expect this kind of thing to happen?

Fortunately my car insurance did cover the lost! If anyone got friends in Toronto, they probably will remember this! (I definitely would remember this for life!) Some people lost their home and their house insurance didn't cover this! I guess I am lucky compare to them!

It's not a mall, it's a commercial area. See the picture below what the rain storm did to the street around Finch and Keele.
