Good luck to you. You and your are OK. Thank goodness. A vehicle is a replaceable item and you will get that resolved.
Now go to court and make sure that drunk gets what she deserves.

I'm glad you're both ok. At the end of the day, the most important thing in life is that we're alive and well. Everything else is just material. And anything material can be replaced. In regards to your insurance, payments, body shops, attorneys, doctors, and everything in between, all will fall into place and it will be taken care of.
Take care man, best wishes to you and your family.

Very glad to hear you and your son are doing well. You're insured so let them (your insurance) handle it. Be patient and try not to sweat it cuz it may be a long process - let's hope not.
This is a 24 hr town, so our streets are full of drunks at ALL hours of the day. If you ask me, we take a serious risk for injury or accident when driving our streets. But we refuse to let these drunks dictate our livelyhood right? With two little ones of my own, I have to be extra attentive and cautious for all the drunk DB out here.
Be safe!

wow, thank god you guys are alright, how old is your son? hope hes not too shook up.. and im sorry that happened to you, damm drunk drivers!
Sorry to hear and i hope you both are better today. I am glad you both walked away alright, but injuries can happen at a later time at any given time. Make sure you have detailed documentation. Get names and phone numbers of any witnesses. Do not make ANY recording to the insurance company. You should not have contacted your insurance company but only the driver at-fault. Too late for that though.
Yes, you still have to make payments. Doesn't matter you had an accident or not, that's your car and you made a commitment to buy and pay for it. Anything happens in the meantime, you're responsible. Same holds true for all things in life.
Contact an attorney immediately. They will guide you through the process and have you get checked out. No price can be put on the mental anguish that may follow.....even if you did make a recorded statment already saying "we're all ok, no injuries"
Don't think your car is that bad since the wrecker drove it on the truck. No leaks or anything? you may have a bent front end frame but it's probably unlikely if it didnt impact the wheel. With that said....I don't think your car is 80% damaged to the cost of appraisal so your car will get a fix. But after that you can keep complaining
Take it to a recommended shop that deals with BMW. Dealer should be able to recommend one. Visit their shop. Notice the cars on the lot. Read reviews. Look at their paint booths (most important) and look at their storage lot.
I was run off the road by a drunk driver 4 months ago. We were both doing 60mph in a one-way road...obviously i was going the right way. I turn the corner, saw lights directly in front of me and braced for impact while i cut the wheel. That day changed my life. I had no impact at all and ran up on a curb. A little road-rash on the weel and tire, scraped paint on the bottom and side of bumper, inner wheel-well plastic cracked and a torn bushing. Hassled the insurance company and got about $2700 to fix. Cost me about $150 to fix since I do the work myself. Body shop wanted $1500. But now my neck is starting to hurt. Good luck
