Service Update
Sent car to PML today. PML staff told me that the jerky gear change at low speed issue has now been a common complaint and has been conveyed to BMW in Germany to look into. No definite diagnosis of the cause and remedy yet. Seems that this problem only affects 520i and at 1000 to 1500 rpm bewteen 40 to 60 km/h speed. Possible cause: new 6-speed gear box not properly tuned but no confirmed. Accordingly to the service staff, some customers find problem gone when they switched to Caltex petrol which indicates another possible cause could be the additives found in other brands of petrol. So far, this problem only happened to me a few times. And I find that if I press down the accelerator gently and the car picks up speed slowly from standstill, it seems to avoid the problem. Each time the problem happened, it was when I pressed down the pedal too suddenly when taking off. This indicates the more likely cause it the gear box - could be that the gear box got a shock and did not know how to react when pedal is pressed down suddenly. Talk of AI - even an intelligent car can behave erratically when under state of shocked. I hope there will not be a recall of E60 when the real cause of the problem is found. Also, hope problem does not raise safety concern.
Other Updates: V12 idrive software not in Singapore yet.

eggz, I did not ask about the bluetooth. Will ask them when I collect my car.
sg520i, PML told me Germany investigating the problem and right now, nothing they can do. I hope when they find the cause, they will replace our car with a new one!

Got my car back. Seat squeaking is gone. Also, gear changes seem smoother and there appears to be more power especially when picking up. Gear no longer drags at low speed. Idle rev has been upped and car no longer slides back on slope. PML told me they loaded latest software which they received only 2 days ago from Germany. I think is it version 12. Car feels fantastic after the problems are addressed. Now, need to monitor if the problems come back.
