Okay, enough OT.

Went to SLS for a walk and came across the Acer PDA GPS. Is this one of any good? It costs just a fraction of what a Garmin would cost, and from what the salesguy said, maps are already installed?

I'm sure it is, but I hear from plenty of people that BMW drivers find it very hard to adapt to the Merc. Is this true? I believe they say that because of the poor pick-up, etc?

(1) that's true - mercs need to be prodded harder with the right foot but on the SLK the steering is alot more sorted than the clk or the e-class

(2) the acer GPS runs windows mobile maps from mapking - like garmin maps better - also the windows mobile OS is horrible - drains battery & lots of problem with bluetooth drivers

Hey Zig,

We all also need to behave ourselves... weren't you the first one to say "Wah, the interior lights standard ar?" But all the time you were looking at her legs??? Those lights just help accentuate her legs even more...... Think I didn't catch that??? Hahahahaha
I can swear that I never said or do that. What interior lights???

zig, his special v5.0 wingflaps will cause the cd changer option to be greyed out during the coding process. small price to pay to get 5.0 wingflaps.

I'm using the MIO, a Pocket PC based PDA with built-in GPS. I'm running Mapking, Agis as well as Malsing maps on it. Gave up to Agis bcos it runs too slowly on the PDA. Mapking and Malsing maps run just fine.
