You guys who are into the ICE should heard about the brand GENESIS. The sole rep is near my office and they have the full set up wher you can hear from different combination from the amp to speaker to sub-woofer. Thos who are thinking of buying can pop by to test all those items or combination to you liking before buying. Only setback is they have GENESIS and another Spainish brand.
They carry stock from Stereo 60 to Miniblock for the Amp. By the way, they do not sell directly, only through distrubutors.

Installed a Genisis in my E46 previously but removed it when I sold the car. Quite a good amp. Now waiting to fix it into the GTI when delivered next week. Can anyone recommend some good speakers which I can install without burning a hole in my pocket? The ride is afterall for Jr and he does not believe in thump thump bass, etc. Furthermore with the GTI, there's no place to mount a sub unless you replace the rear panel with a chipboard platform.

Don't forget; we have water based paintwork. This means that they could be quoting on only patching the chip and painting a small patch around there.
And is this bad? I mean patch work instead of repainting entire panel. I am sure they are able to correctly match paint color rite?

Like Greg, I have some nicks that is really a sight for sore eyes. Been meaning to get them removed but the thought of not having a car for 2 to 3 days is really tough  .
