why pay?
just apply a thin layer of amorall oil or a layer of wax onto the part where the seal touches the body. the noise will be gone and occassionally, re apply.

The creeking noise on my rear doors are becoming too loud to be ignored these days. Went to PML Alexandra today and was told that on the 3rd year of warranty, it does not cover door seals. I told them that I do not need to replace the seals but simply add the infamous friction tape on my doors. I was told that the 3rd year warranty offered by PML also does not cover that. I will need to pay S$99 to add 4 low-tech tapes on all the 4 doors!!

Do you think I should just pay or make the hell lot of noise?

zig. just go to bvo and get a bottle of the owa spray.. not sure how much. that time ah wee spray for me foc. spray generously on the felt area.. then the creaks are gone.

i'm told leather conditioner also can.. altho i never tried that.

I got this OWA body flex gel spray from J4C for my 525i. I only need to re-spray 2 to 3 months.
On my E60 530i, seems to work but after a few weeks, I need to spray again. Is this normal? I thought the friction may be maintainence free. That's why I'm considering it.

Saw these over the weekend at the Expo. There was a car and accessories exhibition there. The guy did not recommend these for our BMWs as the OBC will show a fault. Maybe someone can come up with somthing to fool the OBC?

No need lah. Just a simple wave of the hand and then walk away for good; like what LMK proposed. Its a pity you just bought the damned car.

A small capacitor parallel across the LEDs will fool the OBC. I tried 100uF but an even smaller one should work too.
