I was quoted an IMF car. If I'm not wrong, a 730 LWB is 228.00 before loan discounts. They spec the car to IMF requirements and you cannot add anything more. The only diff between these and the Aerospace cars is that you drive the car away BRAND NEW. They will collect from you once the IMF gets underway.

Also, just to mention, the car comes without DD which CANNOT be retrofitted. An E65 w/out DD is like the old STC bus. There will be plenty of body roll; its not good at all.
the price is about right. 228K
no DD is like a bus! i like the description. yes, a must have.
No As is like a tank! another must have. (but mine dun have this! )

Bro ed,

one thing i forget to mention on saturday. i noticed new shoes on your 545, what was the damage? damn nice leh.
Yup. Those are BBS RS-GT; same as with the M6 but smaller; 19 inch. As usual, I have installed PS2 along with the rims. Cost is SGD 9800.00 (rims from Germany) Wt of rims around 11.5Kg each.

I saw Ray rims at Stamford Tyres just the other day. My friend Sam is getting an RX8 registered tomorrow so I was there looking at rims with him. They have the Volks series (19in) for the E60. They are the same very rims our Bro Ah Long has on his GS 300. These rims look a little like the M5 rims but weigh only 9.5Kg ea. They weighed the bloody thing in front of me!!! ONLY 9.5KG!!! Cost is about SGD 1400.00 ea before discount of between 10 - 15%. Definitely worth getting. A pity I saw them right after I fitted those BBS rims.

What does Dynamic Drive do? Does our stock E60 have them?

228K is really worth it (esp with the 20k further cash rebate).... It used to sell at 268k for the LWB and 255k for the std (which they no longer bring in).

I just love the electronics and comfort seats..

BTW, anyone knows where I can import/install/locally fit the Comfort seats in my E60??

DD is an active suspension that filters out bumps & suppresses body roll during cornering. It consists of two active anti-roll bars physically integrated into the front and rear axles that must be factory fitted.

Its an option that you need to specify when you order your E60. The first batch of 530i has DD mistakenly installed and most of us got it for free.

DD is installed on the rear axle suspension.
for your reading pleasure:

http://www.ieeecss.org/PAB/csm/columns/Aug...nsofControl.pdf

228K is already incld with the 20K rebate.

there are numerous exporters in USA and Germany that export the seats as parts.
BVO or Juzz for cars can do it, i think.
