There is no such rule that you must drive an e60 to join the community. Anyone who loves to drive is free to join us. We don't only talk about e60, do we? we also like spas, kois, ice, gpsr what?!

I can't agree with you guys more. What is e60 without Active Steering. In fact this was the single most influential factor that makes me buy this car.
My E60 dun have Active Steering leh. When I first asked PML salesman why there is no active steering in the new E60, his reply was "orh, active steering have a lot of problem, that's why they took it out)

So how is the koi "eggs" going?

Then your E60 is really missing out quite abit... IMHO...

AFS can only be factory fitted and easily adds 8K to the OMV... resulting in additional 20k on-the-road. Its no wonder why our 520s crashed in value when the 523 came out... Most of us bought at around the 190-200k range... and the 523 were selling at 168-175 (for the newer start/stop buttons ver).

I thought I saw you a couple of times... sitting in a SkySuite...on board SQ...wearing their Givenchy Sleeper Suits... with Solitaire PPS tags on your luggages...
if you see me there, means you are also Solitaire right?
i also see bugaboo there in the lounge what...

eggz..would you cross over?

RS4 is darn good looking and got the poise. V8 FSI and AWD quattro will be great. but you need to row the stick. maybe a good idea. gotta to use the left foot more often now.
incidently the M5 will get a stick version for US market coz of great demand with stick shift there.
bros.. control control hor.. talk spa only suddenly all hell break loose.. later Lomag locks this thread because of too much OT then we all LL.
Zag, thinking long and hard about it now. Almost definitely going for a 2-door next, since there's already an MPV

RS4 is probably out, as I don't really want to go stick, haven't driven a stick since I passed my test hahahah, but unless the ZSG or DSG from Porsche or BMW comes sometime next year, might not have a choice.

Was that what the sales person told you at PML? Damn those loosers really... no back bones at all.
I think the real reason is profit margin. with AFS no PDC vice versa.

AFS and DD w/sport suspension = e60 feels like small car.

Size: 225.1 KBFirst test drive report for the Garmin Sing/JB Map v2 SD compared with MalSingMap.

Strengths:

- More POI and with full address and tel num

- Can search by address in two steps (block number/house number + street name)

Weaknesses:

- Routing table has errors and once you install it together with MalSingMap, all street/routing uses Garmin. MalSingMap is only reduced to POIs.

- When I testdrove it for 60km last night, from Novena to PIE to KJE to BKE to Mandai to SLE to CTE and home, many a times my icon shows that I am "in the sea" or in a patch of green... forest?".

- A couple of times the map suddenly "zoomed out" all the way showing me in a patch of land next to "South China Sea"... the car icon was as big as Singapore island... (my settings was set to "normal view - 3D"). Never had this problem with MalSingMaps.

- I went to ICA today and at the junction of Kallang Road/Lavendar just before ICA, I took these snapshots by activating and deactivating the Garmin maps (i.e. when deactivated, it reverts to MalSingMaps). I seem to like the MalSingMaps better. It shows more information such as the Public Carpark at ICA and Crawford Bridge...

- When routing... especially after having gone up the ramp and already on the expressways.. it still shows the car "floating at the side of the road"...

- all my Traffic camera POIs disappeared...

Verdict: I am not so sure if we want to spend $300 to get the address search alone... and then turn it off to let MalSingMap take on the routing etc... Maybe we should keep our $13 street directory just so that we can put a new "favourite spot" on the place we are trying to get to....?

Special thanks to Spruce202 for lending me his $360 Garmin Map...

And you got free Active suspension to stop the ride from rolling right?
the new 525 only have servotronic steering installed.
