the GPSMap file is encrypted, so i doubt your can get the full file to open in HEX form but no harm trying la.
Unless you have the original card (i thought you have it from Spruce202?) read out the SD encryption, then transfer into a new card.

... Cos I figure out I can somehow map the img file header of the original map to the MalSingMap... then we would have "Country = Singapore" and street names should be searchable! Just my final attempt to save EACH of us $300! haha

have you guys noticed that this is a TP ops week?
many cams are seen on overhead bridges again.
Yesterday at about 6.30pm PIE towards Changi, near Paya lebar exit overhead bridge.
now i saw it very clearly. It is not a video cam but the new laser detector with twin lenses. This is the similar laser gun used by Malaysia TP.
Even though i was at 70km/h, traffic was heavy, he is still beaming at me.
In the morning was at Upper Thomson road towards Adams road near Mt Alvernia hospital, TP is hiding behind the bushes. Same gadget, one of them is holding an iPAQ PDA.
