Don't think its so simple. Lets wait for the whole story to unfold before we say any further.
True, not so simple. But whatever it is, no seller in the world should treat a customer like a criminal.
The reputation of Premium is so badly affected now. the goal of Mr. LIew is not the $$$ involved, but to do damage to Premium reputation. He has made it.

LMK,
the way PA handle their customer like that.. wah.. RS4 striken off the incumbent list already lar !
haha...gone case!
one thing for sure, the salesman can promise everything to get a sale. But take a look back, how many of us when faced with problems, the salesman will stand by the cusotmer and fight for them?
they can promise first class after sales service, etc etc....but in the end nothing can be done because it is not the saleman that provide the service.
RS4, indeed wonderful 4 wheeled. Premium, i don't know???? i just don't wish a policeman come knocking on my door!!!

good input... it is darn hard to get PS2 ready stock as well gotta wait if puncture LL have to change all.
why dunlop? the company who gave shitty RFT to begin with? let us know if they get noisier when they broken in. also do they protect the rim better vs. PS2 which does not have overhang wall.

wondering why you didn't consider Goodyear F1?
your PS2 worn out? how km did it clock for you? timing about same as mine right plus minus a month or two..?
F1 has to order. Out of stock.
Toto, where did youget your Dunlop 19"? what is the damage?

i got from ray-S front 245/35/19 at 400...rear 275/30/19 at 460.

i think try poh heng maybe u can get it cheaper than me. i din hv a choice n i cudnt wait. my PS2 was running almost 30,000km...hit a very sharp slab..on the road side...completely slashed thru....

THESE DUNLOPS r new..with newer technology than the PS2....go to tire rack...u will know wot i mean. many rate this above the PS2. once u hv it on...u will realised they have the same steering feel. i am very sensitive to tyre changes...n the only difference i feel is that its slightly heavier in front...maybe becos i hv yet to run it in...the compound feels slightly hardier than the PS2....but it offers better damnpening. better acceleration as well. it shud last longer than ps2....

it is really very close...but wins due to 1 single factor...cost.

ya, Poh Heng quoted about a couple of hundreds off your price total.
I thought the Dunlops ran out too.
Actually i got my info from my colleague in Germany whose job is to test tires on their balancers. Their views on these Dunlops are very high. The others of course is PS2 and F1.

Have fun with your Sport Maxx!

What a coincidence. I have also just changed my tire this morning, to Eagle F1. I am fine with either Dunlop SP Sport Maxx or Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3, both occupying the first and third position in Tirerack survey, I wrote off Micheline Pilot Sport PS2 because of the cost.

First impression after 100 Km, the tire is very comfortable, but its too soft to my liking, especially with the stock suspension. The sidewall is pretty soft, and that makes the ride floats. E60s with sport or hard suspension would be more suitable for the F1.

Everything seems light after the change. The rims feel lighter, the steering also lighter. The tire does not seem to stick as much compared to my previous Pirelli Rosso. As such, my ride seems more powerful and smoother. But again, the Rosso was almost 50,000 Km already, and they swollen on the inside. You might not be able to see or feel on the outside, but once peeled out of the rims, you can see and feel that there were kinks near to the sidewalls.

Noise wise, the F1 is super quiet, it reminds me of the Yokohama AspecDB. Now I have a problem, my engine now roars at higher levels. Road noise is almost non-existence. But that is a good problem.

However, those were just my observation in the first 100 Km. Hopefully after the tires run in, the sidewall will harden andget more sticky to the road. Meanwhile, I am enjoying the extra horses and the four extra eagles

Yes the 245/40/18 F1s were out of stock for the last 1 month. Today I went to South East and told Ah Meng I cannot wait anymore, my 50,000 Km Rosso had beem growling and howling at low speed, I need to change my tire today. The agent is out of stock, but he managed to get a set from another tire shop albeit at a slight premium.

I was torn between Dunlop and Goodyear, but my choice was made easier because the 18" Dunlop is really out of stock, despite numerous attempts by South East to get a set for me. I have my reservation on the survey in tirerack, given the lower miles reported on the Dunlop survey. But that does not mean they are no good. PS2 is really overpriced. I was quoted 500+ for the 18". The size 245/40/18 is only limited to E60s, thus not many agents stock the size.

Guys, I have some old ICE for sale. All are Lanzar.

1. A pair of 6.5" components (tweeter+midbass+crossover)
2. A pair of 8" subwoofer

Each item costs S$10. You can give me a cheque payable to any charitable association of your choice. Or you can show me receipt of at least S$10 of donation to any charitable organisation for the month of June/July.
