Hi doc and 33, Onz, welcome mini meet up at yours and 33 place. Btw, part of the deal for my "organs" was for him to buy beers So, lets have drinks while we (at least me) drool over his new Merc.

Btw doc, tot your e60 already molested by Ah Boa and gang! Looking for seconds?

33... please remind Ah Boa to bring a longer antenna cable! Currently one of my powered antenna is mounted at the front wind screen which may not be the best position for TV reception. Was told that mounting the second powered antenna under the bumper will improve reception.
havent done the ipod dock yet... & reverse camera

Leslie, Chin Wah don't sell the donut spare for the E60 i.e the official spare. Why don't you buy a trade-in 225 rim and a 2nd hand tyre from Chin Wah and use that when driving up north (fullsize spare is safer). For local roads just use a tyre repair kit. That's what I did when I changed out of the runflats. Total costs:

225 rim + tyre from Chin Wah - $150
Tyre repair kit + air pump - $120
E39 jack from junk yard - $30 (works for E60, I tried it!)
Total - $300
Eggz, question is, will 255 rims + tyre fit the trunk? I actually spoke to chin wah but they didnt recommend anything close to your suggestion. Stupid question, what is the 255 rim size and what does it look like? And please, not wing flap jokes

Doc... why not arrange your next molestation together with 33? Stripping my organs, transplanting them onto 33 and your iPod/reverse cam; gang bang orgy session

My goodness! I know I have been away for 2 weeks but looking at the activity in this forum, its like a month.

Anyhow, I came across this product in the US for our E60 - its an individual DVD headrest made by Innovision. I spoke to the sales rep there and he gave me all the product details. His company is making them with original leather supplied by BMW. Apparently he supplies to all the BMW dealers in the US. He can supply with multi-region player, for comfort seats and in any BMW original leather factory color.

If any one is interested, the website is http://www.invisionindustries.com and the relevant product is Revolution 2.

I am quite keen and would likely place an order when I get back to Singapore. Any one else keen?

Les, I think he meant tyre width 225mm.

What you can do is buy the rim and tyre and store them at home. When you're driving up North, strap the spare into the boot. Thats the config the M5 and M6 come in.

Another idea is to try buying the spare space saver rim from someone who's selling his ride. I'd sell you mine except that I'm not ready to sell my E60; not for at least another half a year or so.
