i have not received mine yet...but i know i cannot escape.
if i am not wrong, they use spot reading but the machine has to do a 3 spots, in other words, a consistent speed throughout 200m. about the length of 3 lamp posts. this is to prevent errors like doppler effects and controversy situations. Like the traffic lights cameras, 3 pics to proof in court.
last night, i went down to Pasir Panjang to pick my wife, along the 3 highways, i have seen 1 wrx, 2 overhead bridge cam with tripod and one van along west coast road, oh yes, a Hyundai Matrix in "civilian colour" with a radar gun pointing at me! i think they only aim at BMW's!....what the hell the TP is doing?
Of course, i kept to the speed limit at most times. even my brain has a 6 sense, i cannot tell!
So gentlemen, please keep your blood cool and don't speed for now.

Lets all keep to the speed limit for now till this thing blows over, otherwise there's gonna be quite alot of BMWs in the resale market in the coming months.

Care to share who the SE is? May be easier to go to the same person. Don't have to explain much.
Mine is due in 1 - 2 weeks' time.

Was speaking to someone in the Know (dun ask who).... there IS increased activity on the roads. Do take care. Was also told that they will book you for minor offences (i.e. speeding 10kmh above limit, not signalling, etc.) which they normally dont. If you find yourseld in that situation, do see your Minister.... it will likely be quashed!

the arb is good. much less roll on 523 w stock suspensions setup. i like it comparing the before and after. didnt think the arb will have such a big effect on roll... thinking i might want to change suspension to koni fsd. but for now i feel might be good enough for my needs. happy to let you try my car.
the arb is much thicker than original. i took some pictures (not much).
new arb (front)
old stock one (back)
ok sorry i have not taken good pictures. busy chatting with the guys at coffee shop
