The wait is almost over! Spoke to my SE today, my ride will be at the docks 18 May and I should get the car about 10 days after that. Hopefully eveything will go as planned!

[COLOR=green]Had a fright when coming out of a carpark today - I was driving up the ram (slope) of about 30 degrees and stopping for payment. Lifted my foot off the brakes and before I can put my foot on the accelerator, my 530i slide backwards despite the gear being in D.
Immediately drove to PML and was told by CSA that mine is the second around with this problem! 2 possible solutions - one check gearbox pressure, another - up the RPM a little. The latter is sure to increase consumption mannnnn.
Going in next week to do it up - better than to be horned from the back or worst still, to bang somebody from the rear - try explaining to the law taht it wasn't your fault if this should happen.

Saw Glen Ong & Rod Mont of 98.7 @ PML 2day.
U r right Interestin525iA, promotion on for 730i, 520i and 3 series (tiao tu - too many left overs...) - no discount for 525i & 530i b'cos no stock.
Also heard that dealers like Teo Tian Seng & others (only PML to sell BMW henceforth) relingusihed of dealership in Apr 04 - got to sell whatever on hand by Jun 04 - correct me if I am wrong.

Olivin530i,
My current 320iA has back-sliding problem about 10% - 20% the car is on a slope. Meaning most times the car brakes automatically on the slope. So your incident of back-sliding might an isolated or rare situation. Probably got to do with some sensor detecting back-sliding...

Interestedin525iA,
My previous E39 523i (525 engine block) never have back-sliding problem. Covered 184,000 km in 7.5 yrs and work like a horse!
You know 525i don't have confort seats and side shades? And also no stock now. I actually wanted 525i but b'cos no stock and I'm so used to the confort seat in my previous car, so settled for 530i instead. Luckily they still have my colour.

Olivin530i,
I was under the impression that PML only stocked 520s and all others (525,530,545) is on indent basis ? Guess I might be wrong... Was just told that June production quota has been taken up and next available production slot is Aug/Sept ! Anyway as I wanted to see the actual Olivin green colour, the PML salesperson is watching out if any Olivin green cars drove in for servicing so I could take a look.

I have the same problem with my new 525d. When stopping on a ramp and lifting my foot of the brake I have to hit the gas pedal really quick or I'll go down again.
Never had this issue with my 330Cic, I wonder whether this was intended by design or not?
