I was told by the sales person who sold me the car that they are currently getting some of the local technicians to to fit PDC on cars. If successful, they will offer this after market option to existing E60 owners in a couple of months. Expect to pay about S$2K though.
Interestingly, I was told by a friend in BMW Asia that he doubts that this is possible as the car needs to be "prepared" to allow PDC to be fitted.
This is sounding more and more like the "Bluetooth Saga".

The accessory brochure for E60 has arrived at PML. I got one last week when I went there to buy the boot mat. The mat is very neat - it cover the entire floor area of the boot and is shaped like a tray. So, even it you spill water or other liquid in the boot, the liquid will be contained in the tray. Also makes the boot look very nice - so nice that you feel like lying down in the boot and taking a nap there.

My Ride: e60 530i - SOLD!

Last week I experienced jerky gear shift (quite scary)...
I was moving off slowly with only slight pressure on the gas pedal.. while moving off I believe there is delay in gear shift, I felt the engine rpm built up and screech... the car jerked and launched forward with rear wheels screeching, my goodness this is scary to think if there is a car in front of me!
I am bringing in the car for check up this week!
anyone experienced this before?
eggz, got your ride yet?
toto... any new kill story to share? smoked a loud alfa75 who tried to sprint with me the other day.
