The stupid spring of my E60 driver seat squeaking a lot nowadays. Anyone know whether it is covered by warranty so that I can have the seat replaced with a new one?
I am surprised to find that the driver's seat of the showroom 520 also squeaks like hell. I hope this is not a feature of the E60. IMHO it is fair to get it fixed at PML or get a replacement. I am sure it is not designed and built to squeak so easily.

eggz,

How much you paid for ur baby?
Hi,

In the end I paid $231K basic price, with options, total was $247K

Just want to check on Pro radio vs business raido. In your iDrive, under "Entertainment" and "FM" do you get a "All Stations" option? or something else?

thanks,

eggz[/quote]
Been away for a while and now i am back!

Shoot! Paid mine for $245K and no moon roof; no dynamic drive..

any of you sg folks done any body kit like one (i think chap from hong kong) of those shown in the forum?

toto, how are you doing?
eggz, finally got your ride? any mod in mind yet?

I have clocked 12000 km and the service counter in down to 4000km. Shoot.. this is one high maintenance piece and my monthly petrol bill doubled (vs. e46 320i) but again who cares hahahahaha!

cheers

BTW .....anymore e60 meet up planned so far? sorry for missing the last one being out of town.

Hi Zag,

Welcome back! Don't worry about the price difference, at least you got to enjoy your E60 much earlier.

Imagine, I'm a pretty loyal BMW customer, previously owned E34, E39 and E46 and didn't get invited to the Sepang E60 launch or get any other goodies from PML.....

No mods in mind in terms of bodywork etc. I'll almost definetly do a Bluetooth retrofit when it finally becomes available and that's about it.

BTW, just found out (duh!) they gave me 275 rear tyres with the 124 rims. I optioned (and paid) for 245 tyres for the rears......I guess my SE made a mistake.

Anyone knows if it's possible for PML to provide us some kind of document that lists the exact configurations of our E60s. It should list info like month of manufacture, list of options, colour code, software version out of factory etc.

This will reduce a lot of guess work on our part about whether we have, for example, the 640 telephone prep or dynamic drive (like totoseow, I'm wondering if I really have dynamic drive in my E60 )

I'm sure it's somewhere in their computer database and why shouldn't we the owners know everything about our cars rite?
