Z4M is already @ the PDC. I heard there are plenty of new models there awaiting green light.
Sorry...what is PDC? LTA? When do you guys know it would be available for booking? I already got the color list and specs from BMWAsia...on the 9 cars they brought it...but PML is highly reactive...

yup, the cover can be closed when you remove the iPod. You can use it with the aux-in.

most of us engage our regular installer to do it.
his contact: 93369580 Ah Boa

just tell him Lai refer you to him.
he charges reasonably.
Hi Lai,

how much would it cost and where is the workshop? i.e. Ah Boa will fix the AUX and have it routed to the cigarette lighter compartment, together with the iPod Cradle? do I need to buy the cradle myself or he would supply? How long it takes? Very keen to do it... but mine is a stock car... can it be done? thanks!

wait till you see her....you'll want to go service your car weekly!
Is that why Ed always complains and sends his cars in?

Let me kapo. Just call him. He is a very easy to talk to person.
The workshop potentially can be your home.

But AUX needs to be installed by PML. iPod cradle you probably have to buy yourself unless he can help you buy.

Guys,

I am keen on doing the ICE mod using the new Intel-based Macmini with Mobycars in Singapore. They have never done an E60 but had experience on E46 and E90.

What are the pitfalls I should be aware of? I was quoted a baseline price of $5K+ which should include the hardware, GPS maps, bluetooth....

Thanks!

Is the setup going to have a separate screen? If it's still the idrive screen and they have never done it, I will be worried.

Bug, $5K for you who tinkers with the setup yourself is of course not worth it lah. But my opinion is they probably make close to 50% GPM.

You probably want to know what is included...the costs may go into the range of 3-4K excluding workmanship.
