Dun ask Toto about what's legal and what's not! hahaha

LMK, dun think PML did any update on my iDrive. Mobile service juz came and top up water. As for the Eibach suspension, I am truly happy with it. Handling improved without sacrificing too much of comfort. Of course, I have to go slower over speed bumps.

Stranger.... wing flaps on fog lights? Better yet, to ensure slow speed and be safe from Traffic Police, install Wing Flaps upside down; increase drag, lower speed... sure safe one!!!

SFL33X, my consumption 7.2l/km. That's mostly city driving on D and sometimes DS. If you are wondering what's Wing Flaps...check with Edlee..... he da man!

How much for the steering eggz? Does it include air bag?

Guys! when I first got my ride 6 mths ago, I complaint about headlights fogging up. PML tested it and said slight misting of headlights is normal. Now, I noticed my fog lights are fogging up everytime I wash the car or when it rains. Its not mist, I can literally see water droplets. Is this normal?

As for PML service, I am not doubting you guys, but thus far, I am quite satisfied. My experience thus far,
1. Complaint about range of transmitter to open doors. Took two hours to replace transmitter in the ride.
2. iDrive alarm message last Sunday indicating "Low Coolent Level". Called PML mobile service and they came within 15 mins.

Hope I am not speaking too soon!
Hi BZSAB,

My E60 is about six month old and have the same problem with my fog light (water droplets). PML told me there was not warranty for such problem. Surprisingly, after some time (several weeks), it just dissappear by itself.

Hi Eggz,

I just bought a Garmin Streetpilot C320 2 weeks ago. Is this model possible to check speed trap like you've mentioned?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Ed,

Congrat to your new home. Nice place. I have a friend leaving in the same neighbourhood.

Hi, can you tell me more about your "Garmin" GPS and iPod setup for your E60 pls? Where can I get it down and how does it look like? What's the price? Thanks vm!
hehe...can, but first you have to elaborate what do you want?
for ipod, you can go down to PML and get the aux audio installed 300 plus sgd...if i can remember well.
oh...remember to remove the resistor and capacitor to get pure audio. ask your outside installer to remove it for you.

as to Garmin, you can buy a garmin GPS from sim lim tower or square and download the map from Malsingmaps.com the speed trap is already incorporated in the map.

or, till the next meetup, we can talk more. over a cup of coffee!

Might wait until the M3 is out though and see how much difference in price/performance. I think the 335 cab will have a tin top,
Speaking of price, the 335 is going at 33k pounds in UK, and if converted to singapore price structure, it should probably cost around $250k. It's pretty clear that the convertible will be a hard top, which I think will add another 20K to the price tag? For the next gen M3, I think it will go for $360-370k....

If there is ever a 535 bi-turbo, probably will be looking at $280k tag, although the 540 should command about $270k in Sin. Well, it's down with the count down, and my itch is getting stronger by the day. haha

Hi Ed,

I don't have water problem in my headlights but only the fog light. I am not sure about warranty for headlight but for fog light, PML told me not covered.

No my friend ride is not BMW. His ride is a RX300 super luxury.

Hi LMK,

Really hope to learn from you regarding download of Maps from Malsings.com. So far I have download some maps but dunno how to go about installing them in the Garmin leh. I hope to be able to attend the next meet up.

Fog lights not covered? Don't get screwed - it's the bulbs that are not

Thata right. If yours are original and have not been tampered in any way (changing to higher wattage, etc) then you've got every right to claim.
