Hi guys, I have a April 04 E60. Currently waiting to book the 2006 Z6 3.0si.

Just last week, I went to Juzz4Cars to do the Hiop BDM tuning which costs $1200+GST. It was supposed to have 10-15% more torque and 15-18 more HPs and go easy on the fuel consumption. (mine is VERY bad at 5.5km/litre and PML could not do ANYTHING about it)

What are the average fuel numbers you guys get? the one that is shown on the onboard computer...

But the tuning didn't have significant positive effects on my car so far, anyone had better (or worst) experience with the Hiop Cartune program? Would be install the Hurricane this Sat... again not sure if it helps....

Just one word on the PML experience - I think they suck big time. Even Komoco (my very first car was an Elantra) was much much better.

BMWAsia should seriously reconsider the exclusive PML distributorship in 2007, maybe give Karsono a chance to do it it parallel.

sorry to hear that!

but maybe your compensation can buy 2 M6's!
No way man! I'll be lucky if the compensation can get a Toyota Vios

Eh toto looks like they are real "ON" about speeding these days, I think no choice, have to go up north to gun the car these days, too risky to do it on local roads.

Anyone here getting the M5 steering wheel with paddle shifts? A bit expensive I think.....

How much for the steering eggz? Does it include air bag?

Guys! when I first got my ride 6 mths ago, I complaint about headlights fogging up. PML tested it and said slight misting of headlights is normal. Now, I noticed my fog lights are fogging up everytime I wash the car or when it rains. Its not mist, I can literally see water droplets. Is this normal?

As for PML service, I am not doubting you guys, but thus far, I am quite satisfied. My experience thus far,
1. Complaint about range of transmitter to open doors. Took two hours to replace transmitter in the ride.
2. iDrive alarm message last Sunday indicating "Low Coolent Level". Called PML mobile service and they came within 15 mins.

Hope I am not speaking too soon!

If I drive normally in city+highway, I'm getting 7.7km/ltr.
On weekends when I'm most on highways, I get 8.2km/ltr
If I slam hard on my accelerator paddle and brake during my ride, I get 6.5km/ltr.

You must also be wondering if my installed Broquet Top Fueler has anything to do with this. My answer is no. I got the same consumption reading from my computer before and after installation. No perceiveable increase in power either.

If I receive my speeding summons next week, I will not have any more points to spare. My car will likely to be yielding 7.7km/ltr and most buses should be able to overtake me.

Install wing-flap around the fog lights. Ok ok a bit far fetch.

Firstly water droplets = no good.
Secondly rain/wash => foggin/droplets = no good.

I will be on PML's back.

Either a handheld or a carputer. Goto around page 222 or 225. LMK has a few posts on his carputer.
Handheld then go back a few pages, someone asked about it also.

1628,

if you are struggling with com0com/gpsproxy, you may want to get gpsgate from www.franson.com. It's not free but since they charge $, I would expect it to have good documentation or help. Version 2.0 now supports taking NMEA183 format and translate to Garmin's.

I think you can download for a free trial before buying.
