mine shows 7 days now instead of 5 .."waiting for stocks for delivery".
look like it is out of stocks liao.
yesterday, it shows "in stock" deliver in 5 days.

Yup, better not turn this feature as I read somewhere in this forum that someone who got his E60 <1 night old had locked itself and needed a locksmith to open it... luckily for him, PML took care of the $200 costs but he had a most unpleasant experience and 2 wasted hours...
A group of us drove up to Big Bear for Skiing, happily we got our gears and ski for the whole day since morning.
at about 7 pm, we head home.
one of our friends rented some gears and have to return them.
My brother in law drove downhill and to the ski rental store.
he picked up those gears needed to be returned and left ours in the trunk.
"boom" and the word "shit" came out.
Yes, all doors locked, we were all outside of the car drinking coffee and keys in the trunk.
How?
telephone directory and with the help of the store keeper, found one. most locksmiths had stop work during that winter time.
damage: 500usd! and 3 hours wait...
the store keeper still console us, you guys are not the first, he experienced that before.
what an experience!

Another story which i had shared with some of you guys already.
i am sure many Singaporean had this experience before if you stay in HDB.
years ago, when car alarms hit the market and OEM does not have remote control to unlock their cars.
brand names like Silicon (local) and then Viper or crimestopper came into the market. the former does not have a time limit on the alarm whereas the 2 latter have a 10 min limit.
During those times, especially the movement sensor installed and will sound the alarm with even a cat jumps onto the car. Lighting and thunderstorm will also trigger the alarm.
One peaceful night, no thunder nor cats. a car sounded for many hours throughout till 2am. No one seems to care but it is just irritating and unbearable.
finally someone called the police.
police came. can't do anything. i looked down, stared for 20 min, car still sounding like hell.
i went down, asked the police what are they going to do?
they said, can't. owner may have gone overseas.
i said, can i unlock the car and silent the alarm?
i cannot sleep with this going on!
he asked, can you? without breaking the windows?
i said i try,
i took my long 36 in steel rule (actually 12in is good enough)
ask the police to grant me the permission to "break into a car"!
slip it into the driver's side window, feel for the lock steel rod link.
pop in a few times, click, the door unlock, open the bonnet, unplug the battery connector.
alarm stopped.
But......there is this sudden loud noise came from the 2 blocks of flats....guess what?
.
.
.
.
.
a loud applause of people clapping hands with cheering of stopping the alarm!
i went back to bed. silent night....

Expansys will ship the stock from UK warehouse to the Hong Kong warehouse and then it'll be couriered to Singapore. From my experience, from UK -> HK is about 4-5 days and HK->SG is about 2 days
