No apologies needed; none asked for. This is afterall an international forum.

Looking forward to your visit in December.

6spdMan, its okay.? Its just some friendly banter.? Sometimes a little deviation breaks the monotony of "car talk" only.

Last time I checked, this is a 'car talk' forum.
There is a lounge for OT banter.

Honestly speaking, one can't classify this thread. It's "car talk", TCSS, Banter, what have you.

In fairness to those of us who don't understand Bahasa Indonesia, why don't you Indonesian speaking guys start your own thread, like "E60 for expatriate Indonesians"? That way, those who want to commune in Indonesian can do so without taking up bandwidth of those who don't or can't. Just a suggestion.

Frankly, you are entitled to your opinion. I am a Singaporean with no blood link to any Indonesian and I am also a BMW owner like most of the others and I don't mind.

However, I must point out that you don't understand what I meant when I wrote "Sometimes a little deviation breaks the monotony of "car talk" only".

This is all I have to write about this topic and as far as I am concerned, it ends here. (with me, i.e.)

Should anyone want to continue this little debate, we can always do so during the next meet when everyone, Singaporeans and Indonesians, etc are present, face to face.

Check out the picture. The guy's got the M-tech kit with quad exhausts and even the M5 gills added on. However, his AC rims and fog lights gave him away; not forgetting he's got no M mirrors. Chanced upon this car when I went to view a show house somewhere at the Nee Soon area.

I would like to propose the coming Saturday (9th July 2005) for the meet if it is alright with our kakis.

We could say meet up somewhere else first, exchange some small talk, and proceed to meet RF/Thorsten at PML (I could try to confirm their presence) - raise some pressing issues - and get some answers hopefully.

What time? and where? - any suggestions?

Olivin, you can count me in. My friend Sam might most probably tag along. But, pls bear in mind the timing at PML - within office hours due to security reasons.

Looks like I may have to call RF n Co. 2moro. Maybe we could have coffee earlier prior.

Another point to note is that the carparks around PML may be full coz of Ikea - always Q on weekends!

Any suggestion on the timing?
