I agree with you....It is good enough. Who will sell a 520 and buy a 525 or 530 within 1-2yrs? Might as well buy 6 series...heh heh
kiasu...better sell away your 520 and upgrade to 525 or 530...this will solve ur xeon, pdc and other 520 issues.
sg520i, what yuo said is very true. I should have bought 525i. After changing my rim and installing PDC, spent almost S$10K already. 525i is only $15K more than 520i.
Kiasu, why rims did you purchase that cost $7k?

actually with the release button what good does it make?
if the trunk key slot is at 3 o'clock (ie. locked) does this button work?
if it is not locked, we don't have to use the key/remote to open the boot.
i don't see how by spending S$275 will help ease the pain.

I drive with my trunk locked, so at hotels when they used to check for hidden explosives I have to off the engine, take the key and press the remote control to release the boot. It is stupid isn't it?

So with the release button in the cabin, will that remedy this problem?

zag, you can release the bootlid without switching off engine. The button only releases the lid and does not close it because the E60 is not wired to close lid electronically.
