Airbag SGM fault 93F9 - how to fix it?

^^This...Happened to me twice before battery changes. You can always physically look at the battery for a date/age stamp to see how old it is. The stock BMW AGM batteries lasted me about 5 years each.

Ahhhhh, right, battery inspection was my next port of call, I may just pop a new one on to make sure the problem doesn't arise in the future!!

interested to see how people fixed it too. i've read the first 20 pages worth of google search results and only found people asking for help and one guy who says he knows but won't help. tried brand new battery, bst bypass, occupancy bypass, belt bypass. only thing i haven't tried is flashing the module / replacing components as i can't find info on how

Hi all, still trying to get this problem sorted, changed the airbag module which is in the centre console, had it coded to the car, still bloody there.

It's an electrical issue. Check connections also see if the timing is off
