Called local BMW (in Portland, OR) dealer to get a quote for shadowline kit. They told me $550 for a matte black. Is Gary still around, can I order shadowline kit through him?

Edit.
Tried emailing FJERSHE@motorwerksbmw.com comes back as not valid address.

Whoa! That's twice what I paid. Did that include install? Anyway, Gary is gromani@bmwofnewport.com. Tell him you're a forum member.

Thank you for fast response!
Ye, I think over $500 is too much... And that's parts only. I wonder how much they would charge to get it installed....

Thank you for email, writing Gary right away!

Probably gonna be my last question about shadowline trim... Sorry.
People who ordered via Gary, did you guys get 8 pieces trim?

I'm confused. When I was quoted by Portland dealer they told me price on 8 parts, and that's what it must be. I called several dealers in NJ (my company flew me here) and every body so off on price. It ranges from $280 to almost $700.

Like I said above, people who got black trim from Gary, is it 8 pieces part?

Yes 8 pieces. 2 per window. I guess the price went up but go for $280 for matte black.

Strange, price becomes higher if you go deeper into the country LOL...

Thanks for reply!

If the $700 was for the GLOSS black that's then the price went down for that. I remember it was around $900 for the gloss.
