Default 745 545 4.4 more oil leaks lol!!!!

Anyone replace a right valve cover but still have a leak at the back of the head? Guess what? There is a oil passage plug at the back of the head that leaks sometimes too!!!!

Of course it is behind the metal air injection line so that has to be removed. Hmmm, will the tranny need to be removed to get to it? Will the intake need to be removed to re attach the air injection hose? will I need to remove the valve cover AGAIN!!!!

BMWs are so much fun!

Please do. I plan on changing the cover in the future and I don't want to have to do it over again. Also thanks for your DIYs. They've helped me with a lot of repairs.

Allen, I am just a DIYer that browses the forum from time to time to give help really since I rarely ask. I don't take the time to write up nice DIY's or anything anymore. But if I haven't said it before (I'm sure I have) I would like to take some time to say that your contributions to the forum are much appreciated by all members.

Agreed, Allen is "the man" when it comes to fixing our cars. It's really great to have him local to me as well.
