I bought mine from here
BMW USB OBD Dcan D Can Cable Inpa Ediabas 2008 $$$ U s Seller Look $$$ | eBay
Used it with my Progman on many E chassis from second quarter of 2007 through 2011 and used on F chassis with ISIS. ISTA/P needed a special config/hack but I was able to manage it and use it perfectly.

Keep it coming should be able to find a good amount of good sellers with right working cables
Not likr half of sellers that sell cables dont no nothing about them an most are faulty or not for even right cars

Money well spent. Who knew that all I had to do was replace a sensor here or there instead of wasting thou$ands on a farking control module and programming. I lost faith in the $tealer$hip long ago.....
Actually I just got my ISIS from them and I'm eager to get it setup and try it out. The J2534 cable I got from them worked great for me with BMW's online programming but needed something in house like my DIS/Progman setup because I don't trust straight online programming. I like to cut out the middleman (internet)
