Because its mis-leading, according to NCS dummy there are two types of AUC, v2 and v4. The LCI panel is looking for v4, so setting it not active is telling the panel you have v2.

Ah ok. I have the pre-LCI panel but connected the LCI AUC sensor.
Would it work then if I set it to not active ?

I have the LCI AUC as well in the LCI position (next to the pollen filter) and set it to not active.

No luck, I don't have AUC_MKIV option in the trc file. I believe I had in the low version reading an old backup file, but not anymore in the high version.
So I added it as night_aktiv and no luck, its there when I read the module but the error 'no signal error from the AUC Sensor' is stil there.

That really odd as the software is the same for both panels just different functions enabled for each panel.

I have one question ...
I have a 520d N47 LCI 5er. MY 09/2007

I have installed an LCI IHKA high pannel but after moving all wires from 18pin to 26 pin plug I still have to wires left in the 18 pin plug

pin 2 = yellow red
pin 5 = white green

any advice?

This thread about the conversion in a pre-LCI.

I have managed to make the compressor to work at the moment. There are some differences from the pre LCI wiring. (pin 5 and 8 from x18793)

There is 1 wire red yellow (bigger than the others 0,75 i guess) that i don't know where to put. It's pin 2 from X18793. Some advice please.

L.E.

I did some diagnosis on the car and seems like I have the following 9 errors. Solar and condensation sensor will be installed later.

One question:
rear compartiment flap motor and stratification flap rear compartiment is the same thing? I have 2 errors related to this. The other DTC are normal to be present. And still where should I plug the red yellow wire previously at pin 2?

Dont know, your the first person that I know of that's done it on a LCI. Any errors you get for flap motors you should ignore, on the high matrix heater there's 9 motors and on the basic only 6, ignore the heat exchanger temp sensor as well as you only have one temp sensor not two. The error for the ventilation sensor is because on the high heater matrix there's a sensor down wind in the centre dashboard vent, this can be fitted if you wish.
