I did this mod today as well,(pre lci car with lci high panel) and like one other here i got the engine fan running on full..

he mentioned pin 21 mod, i didnt quite understand that? can someone please explain this to me?

Im going to do the coding now but i didnt understand if that would fix the engine fan problem.

EDIT: fixed it myself after i found the actual schematics on the WDS.

Pin 21 (brown blue) coming from the vehicle harness) is supposed to be grounded from keeping the engine fan spinning at full speed.

Finally got the AUC (auto air re-circulation) working, When I fitted the AUC sensor it was causing the IHKA to register an error, turns out the coding was wrong. You need to set AUC_sensor to nicht_aktiv.

Hi blood. After I did all the retrofit I didn't try to see if the ac is working. All the buttons r working and the fan is not on anymore, but when I press the ac button I can't really hear the ac kicking in and there is not cold air coming. I don't know if I need to refill the ac or there is something else. I fitted the dollar sensor and the car was coded. Do u know what the problem is? Thank u !!!

Change your vehicle order to an LCI date, for the US it would need to be at least 2008 then re-code the IHKA, it will work then.

Same problem.
Setting it to inactive doesn't sounds realy logic. How are you sure its working and not just disabled ?
