OOps, no my 9 inch stock rear wheel is 275/35/18 at 55ET but I do use a 12mm spacer in winter.
The VMRs are 9.5 inch,33 ET in the back with 285/30/19
Ah, so no spacer on the 9.5" rear since your offset is low enough not to need one. I've read varying accounts but seems like I'll likely need 10mm spacers for the 9.5" rears I may be getting with the deeper 45 offset.
Seems a bit close for comfort. No worries though, as long as I know the wheels can eventually fit 245s up front and 275s in the rear. Love that look and figure with the right aspect ratio I can still maintain the correct circumference and comfort.

Alright, just wanted to thank everyone on this forum for the info. Wheels are 19" gunmetal VMR V710, thanks to hot MILF on CL that listed them cheap.
Tires are staggered Kumho Ecsta PA51, since I do get snow up here. Asymmetrical but not directional so I can still rotate side to side. Fronts are 245/40R/19 on 8.5" wide wheel with 35mm offset.
Rears are 275/35R/19 on 9.5" wide wheel with 45mm offset. I used 12.5mm spacers to push the rears out a bit more flush and give the suspension some more clearance.
Matching circumference for the AWD system, obviously. The ride is greatly improved, way less bouncy on rebound. Roads are good up here (way better than SF bay area where I came from) so I think this will work very well.
At some point when the weather gets warmer I'll paint my shiny window trim black to match the b- and c-pillars.
I have an 2008 528xi... currently stock suspension and running Style 246 wheels 18x8 front and back. I'm currently waiting for my suspension to come in... BC Coilovers for XI models and should give up to a 2 inch drop. I'm looking at a few wheels, all are 19x8.5 et35 front and 19x9.5 et 35 rear. Going to run standard 245/35/19 and 275/30/19.
My question is... with the wheel setup, are wheel spacers needed for any clearance? Will this setup get the wheels and tires flush or close to it? Are spacers needed just to get them flush with the wheel wells?

Your aspect ratios seem pretty thin considering how mine don't have a lot of sidewall above. Everything else sounds good, save for the "up to a 2" drop", but since they're coilovers you can pick your drop height anyway.

Help with xi tire decisions.
I have a 2010 535i xdrive, I recently purchased a beautiful set of style 199 wheels to throw in.
19x8 et37 front
19x9 et39 rear
i want to make sure my rolling circumference is 0%
to eliminate ANY issues there. So I have 2 options I’m thinking about trying but I want help picking the best route.
- option 1: put 235/35r19’s in front
Put 275/30r19’s in rear
giving me a 0% rolling circumference. But my question here is will I have enough room for the 275’s? I k ow fitment for tires/ wheels on xi’s are limited. And would I be able to use my spacers 15mm front/ 20mm rear?
- option 2: put 235/35’s all around.
Also giving a 0% Rolling Circumference. But my issue there is will the 9” rear wheel cause stretching therefore ruining the 0%? Will I be able to use my spacers here ? Here’s some pics of wheels and car. I’ll give some shite with my current 189’s with the spacers mentioned above. Thanks!
Thanks to everyone that chimed in on this thread. Ive been studying it for the past 6 months and finally completed my setup

No rubbing, the wheels fill out nicely. The tire installers told me I probably could go with a 15mm spacer in the back, but that would be pushing it.
