So I'm back on the stock setup now and its more 'cushy' than I remember. I definitely cannot take entrance/exit ramps the way I did with the B8s - the body is all sorts of rolling again and I'm sitting at 3-4 fingers on the rear now. I welcome the stock ride feel but miss the sportiness of it but the bottom line is the wife will be happy. If she's not happy no one is
If anyone's interested I put my B8/H&R setup for sale in the classifieds.

I don't think you need photos of that exact combination. The total size it what matters most. Mine here are about the same, a 245/45x18" for a tire diameter of about 26.7".

hey guys fairly new here but have been looking around for a while i have a 08 528xi and was cutious how upgrading the rims would affect the ride comfort, and handling if i went to like a 19x8.5 thought http://www.wheelsdirectonline.com/beyern/Baroque.html would look nice but dont know how it would ride any ideas? ive never put rims on a car before always rode fairly stock. also does anyone know if they will void my cpo warranty?

Just waiting on rims now I have the 19/40/245 front and the 19/35/275 rear for 8.5/10 set up. My new thoughts are, what if I were to add a strut bar would this help to stop anying rubbing if it rubs at all?

I dont think its so necessary. looking of this guys who has 18/45/245 i'm sure it would be fine. Everything depends on wheels offset.

The recomended tire size is the 35/30 set up, but these roads are bad out here so rubber bands dont work well. My offsets are also a secrete, so I just have to wait and see?
In any case I guess [b]I wanted to know if a strut bar would acually help prevent rubbing? as the only info I have received on this mater from a (user with same size dpe but on a lower suspension)is that the front will rub on turns. I am on a stock 535xi suspension.

Please excuse my ignorance. I have read all 30+ pages of this thread multiple times, but I have never done any modifications before.
Am I to understand that you CAN use 35/40 profile tires and 19 inch rims (8.5/9.5 with 35/35 offset)?
The recommended 35/30 profile has been holding me back because of the harsher ride, the rubber-band look (really not my style), and the fact that I will not be adjusting the suspension.
According to the e90.post calculator:
17 x 7.5 with 225/50/17 = 25.86 (stock)
19 x 8.5 with 235/40/19 = 26.4
19 x 9.5 with 265/35/19 = 26.3
or
19 x 9.5 with 275/35/19 = 26.58
So as long as I don't mind the speedo being off 1 mph are there any other concerns??
Thanks for any help!!
