I've got a question for anyone out there.

It's in regards to a 3 series, I came across this website researching the 5 series and bought one after reading up on a bunch of posts.

Here's my situation. My wife took her car in for some rattling noises that the dealer took care of. They also said she needed her brakes flushed. I noticed on the last service that the car was due for rear brakes at 48,000 miles. They did not change the brakes and only flushed them and replaced the fluid. Now the service was reset on them. The car has over 48,000 miles on it now.

Is this some shady crap! I'm about to go in and rip the service manager next week and take her car in myself and make them change the brakes and rotors.

What do you guys think? Smells like crap!

Thanks,

Rock

Hey Rock! That sounds fishy -- I would definitely take it up with the service manager. The key would be to get the diagnostic codes for the msgs off the OBD if you can. Sometimes, the fluid issue pops up on the iDrive as a brake sensor error. So don't take heads off until you know exactly what the error codes were and what you need to do about it!

Hope this helps and good luck...
