On another note, anyone besides me confirmed and attending from the USA?
One other question, thinking about taking the Rhine River Cruise, before the meet. Any suggestions on which line, how the best way to do this is? Can I take a train to the Port where we catch the boat?
I will probably rent a car in Munich so I can see King Ludwig's castle, before the meet. Or does the train stop there as well?
My Airline tickets are booked, hotel is booked, now the details on the rest of the trip!!!

I'm waiting on information from a hotel in Oberau - approx. 50 miles South of BMW Munich and 7 miles North of Garmisch. I think after we are done at BMW Munich, we should leave the city and its traffic and head for the open road.
This hotel is family-owned and has all the necessary rooms, suites, apartments and such for all of us. They also offer tours to the castle and to the Zugspitze - or can arrange them for us.
And BTW - you do realize that BMW Munich will be similar to Dingolfing - but for the E90. It's just a different setting and different locale "same s**t, different place..."
but we'll get to see the still-under-construction BMW museum and some other things.
The latest attendance roster is attached.

As soon as I hear from the Hotel Forsthaus-Oberau I'll post the info. Those of us who would like to stay Thursday night to do the castle and the Zugspitze on Friday can book there.
Next item - an agent from the Munich tourist office wrote to me about the Chiemsee area, and she told me it may be better suited for our purposes - she thinks Garmisch is pretty in the winter, but Chiemsee is better in the Summer. I have been to both in both seasons and each one is beautiful in its own way.
So, those of us wishing to drive by the Chiemsee on Thursday afternoon, can do so as well and we'll just meet in Oberau that evening. Only thing, there's no direct way to Garmisch from Chiemsee unless you take back roads and it adds quite a bit of driving to Thursday. The only hightlight is the road goes right through Bad Toelz.
