Heidfeld didn't even make Q3. He was 1.3 seconds off of fastest in Q2. All this talk of how BMW was going to make a run for its first win a Monaco now rings hollow. BMW clearly has a ways to go to challenge McLaren for 2nd best. At least it doesn't appear any other team is pushing BMW for 3rd best at this time. I watched the practice on Thursday and the BMWs were about 5 Km slower than the Ferraris in the speed trap. Until this can be addressed, they will languish in 3rd I am afraid.

Sadly i agree with you. SO much hype, how Monaco suits the BMWs, how much Kubica likes the circuit, how Massa doesn't like it so much...and here are the results. Totally disappointed.

PS: Heidfeld is going from bad to worse. I for one, as a team leader, would dump Heidfeld in 2009. He had the chance to shine but all the time he managed to perform as a mediocre pilot.

Kubica takes second when all in front had problems. Wow, I usually don't think much of Monaco past the qualifying, but today was quite an adventure. This puts him back in the points battle.
