My Ride: 535d
You know how sad F1 has become? I just realised that the BBC F1 website has a 90sec review of the race. I watched it today for bahrain race and realised its better than sitting through 2 hours of the boring races. 90secs shows all the good bits and hey,.. thats what F1 has become today.
Not sure if anyone outside UK can view it but here is the link. Click me
The BBC F1 site does have other good short videos like the classic races of the past. Do give the site a check. Search google BBC F1 for linky.

Just like the 90sec replays make a boring race look better, our memories of GPs past are flawed because we have tendency to forget the many many boring races & seasons of the so called great F1 era.
We forget how ugly the cars sometimes were, we forget how unreliable they were, how great drivers like Senna, Prost, Mansell & Schumacher et. al. were on occasion made to look quite pedestrian by poor equipment.
Did Kimi, Fernando, Lewis, Robert & Felipe suddenly forget how to drive.? No, the car seems matter more than the driver and this is not new.
We celebrate Monaco 1992 even though San Marino 2005 was a way better race.

I remember a couple seasons when Schumi was winning his championships that were beyond boring. Some of the races were unwatchable.
