'Kay, here's the deal:? Justin from RoverActive explained that if you want "Electrochrom" on the mirrors, add $289 to the $1335 (factory painted).? Can someone clarify what electrochrom is?? Is this for the heated mirrors or/and auto dimming?? If so, I don't need it in So. Cal.? I may just go for the plain ones...I'll ask Justin and let you all know what it means.

The ELECTROCHROM means AUTO DIMMING.

BTW, Justin would prefer that you emailed him at RoverActive@verizon.net rather than the other "personal" email address.? He can also be reached at 1-888-BWROVER.

Not a big fan of the M5 mirrors myself. Plus they are just way to expensive.

Right.
This item will be much cheaper once the M5 is released in North America.

At any rate, the high price on this thing got me rethinking my styling.

I don't think I necessarily want my e60 to look like the upcoming M5. I just want my car to look sporty with a style that distinguishes it from other e60's on the road. I'll just have to keep looking/waiting.

I'm off the list as well.

I was probably going to let my body shop do it...I'm too busy lately...I don't even have time to wash the car anymore! But I'll pm you when I get it...maybe we can meet up. I'm planning on the next meet and greet soon anyway. (I guess the M-kit will have to wait a little while longer.
