I am just now seeing this post. I am not having any of issues at all with my car and I push it hard when I do drive it. I am even on staggered 20's.

Ok, been promising pics for sometime. Here is one from today - same wheels as DrLev99 and C's Bimmer. No H&R lowering springs on my XI due to the issues mentioned in this thread.....
Looking good, 06xi! Now, slam it! JK! I will be curious as to your decision re: springs. Pray for coilovers!

Hey, everyone....took a few pics of my front struts/springs, while the car was on the ground. The passenger side pic sucks (#3)...was harder to get in between there, since that side sits lower. You can see the accordion sleeve is pretty well crushed on the driver side, but doesn't it appear that there should be some travel left under there? That black area you see right below the bump stop is the top of the boot, FYI...not metal from a strut. How does this look, in your opinion? Remember, my bump stops were cut to basically what you see. Does this setup look correct? Wrong? Normal? I'll get some better pics on the jacks tomorrow when I change my rims. I want to see what's under that boot.

Looks great man! Well done! It totally changes the whole car, right?

Here's a shot of my car, taken at today's meet. I have the springs and have had zero issues. I've also had them mounted the longest. Personally, I think you should still get and install them 06xi. There's very little gap. It changes the whole look.

As for the car itself, I still have a few goodies to add, all which should be mounted next week.
What a tease, you bastard! I can't see shit from that pic, and I certainly don't see your front splitter! And screw you and your springs!

Just kidding...car looks awesome, incredible! Now put that splitter on and be done with it once and for all! And post some pics where I can actually see something?

I am glad you are not in my situation. I wonder why mine is the only one that seems to suck.

I'd really appreciate it if you xi guys with springs could sneak a camera in between your tire and fender and snap a few pics of your springs and struts, for comparison purposes. Do the DRIVER-side, more gap to fit the camera. That would be highly appreciated by me...and probably some other folks here thinking about doing the drop (06xi). It just takes a second. And if they look the same, I will sleep better and praise the Lord.

I'll do it tomorrow Dave. I'll post it here, but will PM you the results. A little drunk right now though (Hahahaha!). Might not be until later in the afternoon...if I remember. Did I just spell everything correctly? LOL!

Yeah, everything looks spelled right...I will remind your sorry, drunk ass if I don't see some pics by dinner time. And while you are at it, snap a few more of your new and improved beast. Thanks a bunch!!!
