I'll have to postpone further works after May 18th due to some personal issues. I will get back with the results in that week!

Well, you will have reversed the resistances, I don't see another explanation.

Got all my wires where I want them to be. Just need the part number for the connection pins for the SZL and for the one going to the E-box. Anyone have those two part numbers?

I've gone and spent 30-40 minutes at a local BMW dealership in their parts department. They couldn't even find the SZL connector (x1880) or ebox connector (x6031) to find out what pin connectors are needed. Anyone have info on where they got the pin connectors???

Definitely don't mind helping out... I'm sure some people don't want to go and read through every post in this 93 page thread This is regarding wiring up your paddles prior to coding. Assuming your car is an LCI and you have the LCI paddles (push/pull w/ leather inserts).

DON'T FORGET TO DISCONNECT YOUR BATTERY FROM THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL.

You are going to need these connector pins... 3 total. I used pins 61130006663 for the pin that goes into the slot 11 in connector x6031 in the Ebox. I was told that the other pins 61131393704 would fit in the SZL under the steering column behind the steering wheel... however, I hard a tough time getting them to fit, so I used the 61130006663 as well and they fit.

You will need these... obviously the one on the left is to strip and cut the wires... the one on the right is to properly crimp the wires to each pin.

Again, using pins 61130006663... I used a green wire to connect to slot 11 in connector x6031 in the Ebox. This is on the passenger side under the cabin air filter assembly. Mine is black and closest to the firewall. You may need a pick tool to help you insert the wire & pin to slot 11. Also helps to unsnap the plastic part on the connector that puts tension on the pins. From there, green wire was run along to the driver side where there is a rubber grommet. I just used a small knife to cut a slit to be able to feed the wire through.

Here is the green wire pinned into slot 11 (this slot was empty on mine)

Ran the green wire through the grommet on the side of the Ebox

Pierced the rubber grommet just enough to feed the wire through

Green wire was then pinned into slot 13 in the SZL connector under the steering column behind the steering wheel. Again, using the same pin connectors and with the help of a small pick tool... you may also again want to unsnap the plastic piece that puts tension on the pins... (*** Make sure you pay attention when pushing the pins into the slots. In my SZL connector, slots 12,13, and 14 were empty. Unlike other connector that visibly show each numbered slot... this connector does not! On the far right... you should see a very small number 16 for the slot 16... that's all. You then count back down to slot 13.***) Pictured... I had already wired and pinned a white wire to slot 12 which will be run down behind the hood latch to the door sill to a ground.

This is looking up under the steering wheel at the SZL connector plugged back in. Green wire from slot 13 goes to the connector x6031 in the Ebox.... and the white wire from slot 12 goes to ground

Here is the white wire run down to the ground. There is a spot already there, just need a 6mm wrench to loosen and attach your ground wire. It is a little tight... trying to pry the carpet away to get to the 6mm nut because the hood latch assembly

After that.... I went back and wire loomed everything to protect the wires and make it cleaner...

All that's left now is coding...

Hope this helps some people!
