You could make a backing plate with small studs allowing use of the wall-hanging slots on the back of the player. The thin backing plate could easily be bolted to the Brodit accessory. In essence, you're hanging the DVD player like you would hang a wall-mounted phone.

Gizmo beat me to it, I see your answer as a triangle of material with two bolts at the top to hang it on and a threaded insert or just a nut at the bottom to screw the brodit thing to...easily made with meccano or similar.

that thing is huge. I have a Gear2Gear in mine. The monitor is strapped in th eback for the kid and the main unit is either in the passenger seat or the passenger floorboard.
