Hi!

I've started this conversion myself now. Made the cable for the left side (No errors on idrive with stock bulbs). For the right side i see that the colors on the wires are different than left side. Does anyone have the diagram for right side. I've been searching around but haven't found it. I guessing the wires are in the same place, but i just want to make sure before i put the cable together.

Sas, question about the 2 x 61138373573 4 pin wiring regulator, in making the harness do I just use the 4 blue cables that come with that plug (as in photos below) and just cut off the black plug end and attach the pins for the 12 pin plug? Or do I need to remove the blue cables and attach thicker white ones?

If you look at the picture on page 3, you can see that he has used the blue wires. Haven't finished my cables yet, but i'm just gonna cut of the black connector at attach the pins for the 12 pin.

Yeah you can actually slide the pins out of the 4 POL plug if you use a pin/needle, still need to cut them since the plug is too small.
Just want to solder the ends now for better contact and should be ready to test

Ok kind of a big problem, the 8 POL connector on the harness does not match the 8 POL socket on the car plug (its the same plug as the car's one and the pins do not align) Turning it the other way around would match but the pins cannot enter the smaller holes.
I think Jas had this problem before? What's the fix?
I have plugged the pins without the plug and all works ok

I made the same mistake you have to turn the blue plug upside down and push the pins in through the wrong end

Yeah they actually don't go in due to the small round metal band in the middle of the pin so I took a 5.5mm drill bit and made the other end the same size. The blue plastic stop is holding the pins in anyway so that's cool.
Anyway finally done after spending all of today working on it, and the result:

6000k HID low beam kit
6000k 10w CREE LED AE bulbs
Most importantly, no errors (I did add a 5w resistor to the AE cables and also did not join up the AE cables together)
