Don't do it. Save your money and buy an M5 or buy a supercharger. NOS is a great way to destroy your motor fast.

LMAO... this thread has so much "TFATF" written all over it that it's not even funny. I thought I somehow landed on a Civic si message board by mistake.
"No, you can't handle NOS"... "I need a 10 second car"... "You owe me a 10 second car"... etc. etc.
E60s and NOS don't mix, guys. Very different universes. Don't do this to your car.
Save up and get an M5, end of story.

The length of time depends on how high of a shot you are running. get it already!!! i've seen the system in person and
it had your name written all over it.
David you are correct. You DO NOT want to squeeze more than 15 second on nitrious.

I could just see my engine / trans / rear end go up in a flash of steam / smoke and fire.

I have to wonder what Joe's reasons are for selling his?
But...
If you get it installed, I want to see some vids
I'm selling my system because I'm selling my car and getting something else that doesn't need NOS

1. Any tune via Power Chip or whatever it is will ADVANCED the timing which is NOT good. If you have the stock tune that is the best.
2. The NOS will wear out the engine just a little but more, but not a lot
3. The safest shot is to run a 50 wet shot. That is the best bet, but 110 SHOT is MONEY!

I would change out the spark plugs every two bottle...about 10-15 runs. DO NOT go platinum as the pronges have the tendency to break off and go into your motor...use NGK Iridium BKR7EIX (part# 2667 from Kragen or Autozone) which is one step colder than our stock ones.
