LOL... are you guys serious? NOS on your e60? Why not the spoon engine, too, while you're at it?
I understand if it's a showroom or a dealer/high performance unit, but on a car that you drive regularly?? Why don't we leave this for the Civic crowd?

Then, I'd rather get a GDM engine overnighted from Muenchen.

Is that anything like the RD Sport R54? http://racingdynamics.com/Localized/NorthA..._Motor_Body.htm

I really would like to find out about this too.
Miguex have you ever changed your spark plugs?
Did you do a motor tilt to change the back 2?
If when Joe says that it wears it down a bit faster meaning for example, Your motor is supposed to last 250000kms after nos it will only last 220000kms, im ok with that!
I know no one will be able to give exact numbers or anything, but i just dont want my motor to blow after 50000kms of installing it

yes, I changed the spark plugs myself and I did a DIY (to explain how to remove the back ones) posted in this forum

As I read in NOS threads from other forums. NOS is not good with platinum made. Cooper or iridium or racing are good for NOS and some say cooper is the best.

I can't imagine that nitrous is good for engine life.

It'd shorten the life for sure but the car goes really fast.

True. But for the price of a new 545 engine, one could totally get a better/newer model.

I'd wince when the time came to actually hit the go go go button.
I could just see my engine / trans / rear end go up in a flash of steam / smoke and fire.

I have to wonder what Joe's reasons are for selling his?
But...
If you get it installed, I want to see some vids

all you have to do is make sure you don't squeeze for more than let say 12 to 13 seconds at a time.
The length of time depends on how high of a shot you are running. get it already!!! i've seen the system in person and
it had your name written all over it.
That doesn't sound correct to me. Isn't the amount pre-determined according to what jets you put into the nozzle? Is this a wet or dry kit you plan on installing?
