Hi guys,

I have chosen to go with a magnaflow quad exhaust on my 545i. After going to see the guys a profusion customs uk they came up with the following plan to use;

- A cat back System with 2.25 inch stainless steel pipes.
- A x-pipe in line.
- Followed by 2 x 18inch long silencers.
- Then straight through to the tips.

How do you think this system will sound guys? There are not many modified e60's around from where i am from and i have only heard one e60 545i in person that i like and that is a member on here westside who has a eisenmann sport quad. do you think the above sytem that has been designed for me will sound like the eisenmann???? Will it be to loud???
I do not want a exhaust that will drone but when i give it some gas it will sound deep and loud like the eisenmann. Please guys your knowledge will give me a much better understanding of what i can expect from the above system.

Thanks Jags.

Any update on this? I am waiting to pull the trigger for a proper dual quad tip exhaust. I am in the UK too and am in the same situation regarding wanting it to sound right.

My ideal soultion would be the quad Eisenmann oval set up that I see on the M5 http://www.kpmauto.com/Portals/0/Seamless....44/P7311286.JPG - has any one managed to get this setup or an identical match?

That looks like a very nice setup on the M5. Too bad the non M cars don't have the space on the right side. Regarding the tips, those look are actual dual chrome cover tips that are oval and slanted. Because of the limited space, most of use have to resort to y pipes at the tips instead at the mufflers.

I have the Magnaflow too and love it, my brother got his used from craigslist but I wanted a valid warranty so I got it here. Magnaflow Exhaust 16833, or you can try one of the sponsors here on the forum, they are allways having sales/specials. Either way its a great exhaust system, sounds great, and very easy to install.
