I thought your links refer to brake air duct instead.

So this "block off plates" only apply to M5 or usable by all, I didn't recall seeing that what look like a hole down below but then again I didn't pay much attention as my concentration was rippin' AFE out at that particular moment...

10-14whp for now. Once I get Rabdog's car finished we will work on the V4 (possibly). EM_5 was here yesterday and we tried something with the block off plates. We dynod his car at 412whp the same day we tested avi8ters car. This was about a month ago. We then dynod his car at 412whp again yesterday, put the block off plates on and we hit 422whp peak and 417whp average.

Joe was the first to get the scoop on his 530 and I believe the dyno showed a 3whp gain.

NOW I get it. I was so confused I called Eloy today. He was describing this for the M5 but it was still unclear. Pics make sense....

The ram air IS an intake modification.

The ram air idea was something we came up with after making and testing different induction types. We are in the business of improving performance and after extensive r&d, we came to the conclusion that was very difficult in improving the stock air intake. It was so well designed that our solution was to increase the amount of cold air going into the stock intake. Fast forward 2 years and everyone and their mothers have jumped on the "scoop" bandwagon as competitors sit back and watch what we do. Companies like AFE, Riss Racing, Swoop Scoops and many more realize this so they jump on the scoop wagon.

One of RPi rejected prototypes.

Did the design make power the way we test our stuff? NO. Did it make power the way AFE and many others test stuff? YEs, but we dont test with the hood open as we do NOT believe its realistic so that entire project was scrapped.

I know some of you are in denial as are some of the manufacturers..........why do you think they are all trying to make their version of our ram air idea? lol.
