I think... if I recall correctly when mine still in the car it was more like on the hot side...
I think this says it all. I'm not sure how that can be disputed.

I got my AFE from Eurorev, do you think the refund applies to them?

However, since it's already installed, how about the RPI scoop with the AFE? I have a 550 with the Remus quad and sprintbooster.

I love the sound of the AFE, but if it's losing me power...

when's the RPI for the 550 come out?

I doubt the refund applies to Eurorev. You might want to directly deal with AFE. The scoops are ineffective with the AFE intake. V2 for the 550i will be available within a couple of weeks. See here for the results: RPI Dyno charts for the 545i/550i

Jeff, Who here is going to spend over $100 to dyno their car for a $200-300 mod??? Not many would or will. That is why everyone here relies on the claims and testing done by the manufacturer.

Unfortunately AFE misrepresented their product and their HP gains thereby taking advantage of their distributors(r1racer) and customers(me). By taking returns, AFE has made an admission of guilt, proving to all of us that they indeed did knowingly sell a product that made no appreciable HP gains and in most instances reduced HP. Jeff, why should we as customers pay the price for AFE's poor business acumen?

John, where I come from dyno's speak. The rest is bullshit, claims are what I call 'ghost power'. You guys are spending $100 on CF grille inserts, how about spend that money where it counts? Who adds up manufacturer hp numbers and claims that thats what they're pushing?

Buyer beware. You all jumped on the bandwagon and nobody testedi it. Why is that AFEs fault. I can open an add and say 'send my $1 for your fortune'. Who's at fault there?
